Can different
parenting styles affect decision making when it comes to social pressure
Social pressure is a problem in our
society. There are many reason why an individual will be pressurized by the society.
Pressure most definitely affect us in our decision making. Most often peer pressure is considered to be
the factor that affect individuals the most. Social media also plays a huge
role. Interestingly, most people do not focus on the effect a parenting style
can have an individual when it comes social pressure, I believe this is a great
topic to research about because if individuals are definitely affected by the
parenting style of their parent, how does that translate when it come social
pressure. This topic will be very much appreciate by both parents and teens. If
parenting style affects decision making, then parents would want to adopt the
best possible style to help their kids. On the other hand, kids will know and
be able detect some parenting styles that is affecting them either positively
or negatively.
